By using this website or engaging Montaque Travel & Consulting ("MT&C") for travel concierge services, you agree to the terms below.
Our role
MT&C is a boutique travel concierge specializing exclusively in Japan. We design itineraries, arrange flights, accommodations, restaurant reservations, transit, and on-the-ground hosting. We are not the supplier of those services — they are operated by the underlying providers (airlines, hotels, restaurants, etc.).
Retainers & trip costs
Working with MT&C requires a flat retainer agreed in writing before planning begins. Trip costs (flights, lodging, dining, transit) are paid by you to the providers. Specific cancellation, change, and refund terms for retainers are set out in your individual retainer agreement.
Travel risk & insurance
International travel involves inherent risk. MT&C strongly recommends comprehensive travel insurance for every trip and is not responsible for losses arising from supplier failure, force majeure, weather, or events beyond our reasonable control.
AI-assisted services
This website and the MT&C client app were built with the assistance of AI tools, and some features — including our digital concierge, Minami, and trip-planning suggestions — are AI-powered. AI-generated suggestions are clearly labeled and are provided as a starting point, not professional advice; availability, pricing, and details should be confirmed before booking, and every MT&C itinerary receives human review.
